FDA warns e-cigarette firms about products targeting kids

Five companies that make e-cigarettes — Moti Global, Ruthless Vapor, Shenzhen Quawins Technology, Shenzhen Fumot Technology and Wizman Limited — received warning letters from the FDA for packaging their products to look like children’s toys or food, and for using characters from shows targeting kids. Brian King, director of the Center for Tobacco Products, said the vaping product designs “are an utterly flagrant attempt to target kids.”
